I know many fitness enthusiasts must be taking supplements on daily basis for different health and fitness needs.. But how many actually know their role in our body?????
Do you all know the roles of supplement you are putting into your body on everyday basis..???
In this discussion i will be talking about a few most commonly used supplements and their function/role in human body..

1:- WHEY PROTEIN:- Whey protein is the most popular supplement amongst  the athletes and general population . Protein forms a building block for your muscle tissues, Whey is one of the best absorbed form of protein available in the market. Protein promotes strength and cardiovascular function and also it helps in strengthening our immune system.

2:- CREATINE:- Many of us might be knowing that our body produces creatine, but if you workout then you need little bit more as it improves the cell volume by drawing water to muscles which in turns improves protein synthesis.
Creatine helps in reproduction of ATP which give you strength and power.

3:-BCAA(Branched Chain Amino Acids) :- This is amongst the essential amino acids and very popular supplement too. During workout our body uses different fuel like protein, carbs and fats, specially when you are dieting and you are on low-carb diet, you must supplement your diet with BCAA because when you are dieting the amount of fuel your body uses including protein is very high, that time your body uses all the amino acids from your bloodstream and if you won’t provide them from outside source your body will again breakdown(including muscle breakdown). So BCAA helps in retention of your hard earned lean muscle mass.

4:-FISH OIL:- Fish oil helps in improving cardiovascular health by providing EPA and DHA. It also helps in insulin regulation and neurological functions.
